While William was abroad I was also on the move.

After being overseas, training for my first Half Marathon and training for my first Triathlon I am happy to say I’m finally spending a weekend of rest back in San Francisco.

More good news and race results to follow!

The bus tour around Uruguay was full of surprises. We visited the oldest church in Uruguay, saw some rad motorbikes and took in the endless ocean views.

Overall it was an amazing trip to experience different cultures and witness what happens on the other side of the world. As exciting as it is to soak in new food, people and history I’m happy it only took a 13 hour flight back to the States to get home!

The group I travled with was extremely adventurous . For the weekend we talked about going to Antarctica, Brazil and Uruguay, we decided on Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay, a small Portuguese colonial town and fort from the 1600s.

We took a fairy across the Rio de la Plata, the widest river in the world, from Buenos Airs, Argentina to Uruguay.

From transportation to memorials the scene in Argentina is beyond diverse. It is no wonder why they call Buenos Aires the Paris of South America. The city has influences from all over the world.

Adios,

Three airports and roughly 19 hours later I arrived in Buenos Airs, Argentina. The people, food, and sounds of South America are something to be experienced. I have never ate this well in my life. They love red meat and everything is prepared from scratch and slow cooked on charcoal and wood grills. After a filling meal and great introduction I capped the night by going out into the street so I could document the busy city in its quiet state.

More photos to follow, Hasta Luego!

I recently caught up with my old friend Glen who used to live in SF and was in town to race in the San Francisco Marathon. When I first moved to the city we would put so many hours in at work by the time the day was over we could only focus on food. Our late night go to was Golden Boy Pizza, hands down one of best spots in town.

For old times sake we stopped through and noticed that the sticker I threw up a few years ago was still on the wall of fame. Maybe it was the fact that this was our first run or just a check point to realize how far things have come but it was nice to see it well aged and still up among the competition.

I just touched down in SF after a solid trip overseas. It’s great go expand your view, meet new people and see new things but nothing beats coming back to your home turf. When you combine time away and cap if off with long oceanic plane ride your left with a prime opportunity to appreciate what awaits your return.

My first few days back are planned to be just the homecoming I need. Meeting up with new friends, reunited with old and starting a new chapter to a long time goal.

Get yours and wish me luck on this race!

Over the past 2 weeks both William and I have been out of the country for work unrelated to The Syndicate. Below is a snap shot of the past 10 days from my perspective.

More from Williams view to follow,

I’m a little late on this one and I’ve been traveling a lot lately so apologies for the delay. A large group of friends and I took off on another road trip down the coast to celebrate one of my favorite holidays, the 4th of July.

New friends, first waves and a great introduction to Santa Barbara.

More travels to follow. Be safe!
