Wow. I’m not sure if it’s because I’ve been out in California for so long and away from a good home cooked meal but this Thanksgiving was up there with the best. The key to a great thanksgiving meal is def. in the variety. The right flavors and drink to complement each other, topped with a nice light dessert to finish.
Obviously this holds true with the people that gather to share this event. Old friends, family, and complete strangers always makes for an interesting mix in good conversation too.
Who’s ready for left overs?

Safe travels to everyone driving / flying to see family and friends this weekend. I’m headed down to L.A. to see the cousins and throw back some home cooked meals.
Remember tonight is supposedly the biggest bar night of the year… so be safe and use a DD!
From our family to yours have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I’ve been traveling lately so I apologize for the delay in posts. I thought it was pretty interesting that even the new James Bond is diggin’ on the eggplant colorway.
And you have to love a good 80’s sunrise on the horizon. In addition to travels we’ve been busy preparing for our next MA collab. launch, so expect to see some new goodies in the next few days.

The Syndicate is definitely my excuse to stay connected to friends, family and even old college buddies. I recently received a great update from my college friend JD. I can remember the few classes we had together, seems like a lifetime ago now. Reminds me of those times in college when you think “this is Calculus and Chemistry, I’m not going into a number crunching major and def. far from being a rocket scientist.” I can now say, yes those are annoying and expensive classes, but somewhere at some moment in time you will recall something you learned in that class and it will make you laugh.
JD is a true Michigandar, thrill seeker and four-wheeling mad man who loves the snow and the sand. When JD isn’t working on his career he uses his free time to pursue his passion for metal working. JD is now turning out custom accent pieces for fellow thrill seekers to trick out they’re off road machines.
I’m a firm believer in turning your passion into pride. Do what you love and you will love what you do. Thanks for the great update JD and keep us posted on your continued success! To check out more of JD’s metal work click here.

I have been traveling a lot lately, mostly day trips for campus meetings and work. Tuesday, I flew into Atlanta for a few hours and then drove 3 hours to Alabama to meet with students. The best part about day trips is you don’t have to check your bag which saves a lot of time and headache at the airport.
I had the opportunity to speak at Georgia State University and the University of Montevallo. I met a great group of students at both universities like Ken and Stephen (shown above). It also was nice to get some positive feedback on The Syndicate.
Thanks Aubree for meeting me at the airport before I left. I wouldn’t have made my flight with out the directions!
Back in the mitten,

For those of you who bought a SOLO shirt your package should be at your doorstep soon. If you didn’t order a SOLO, sizes are now limited and a few are even sold out. Check here to see if you can still grab one!
Speaking of new arrivals, here is a peak at some of our new/upgraded elements that we will be implementing on our up coming collaborative design with Miles Avenue. Continue to check the site and look out for more leaks this weekend.
TGIF!
