As soon as Danny got into town I showed him a quick car tour around the city and then we headed over to North Beach for some hearty Italian food. We ended up at “The Stinking Rose” which is one of the many go to spots for tourist to check out when visiting. Danny opted for the seafood dish and I decided to go with the Chicken Asparagus.

It’s been one brutal week for me so I’m glad its finally come to an end. Thankfully, my good friend Danny is in town to scope out his new digs so he can join me in the land of California! I’m pumped. So, with a recent trip to the hospital I’m going to take it easy this weekend and try to catch up on some open items that fell off my plate. As for the rest of you, I hope you get out and doing something active…. after all it is officially spring time.
Enjoy yours,
-K

Our friend Joe was in the Motor City on business so we met up for some quick food and conversation. Hes been holding it down in Kalamazoo ever since Kyle, Joe and myself we’re in college. Joe keeps the west side crowd updated on the latest and greatest from THESYN. Since we have a few tricks up our sleeve in time for summer it was a great opportunity to fill him in on what to expect.

Thanks for the great feedback and support Joe. I’ll actually be on your side of the state next week!
See you then,
-W
Despite the stormy weather we headed out to Squaw Valley in Lake Tahoe to get some last min. boarding before the season starts to close. In true 5 am fashion I forgot my camera but thankfully my man Scott picked up the slack.

Driving there and back isn’t that big of a task, but with the rainy mountain weather and a long day of boarding it can be tiring. This was the scene as soon as we got in the car to head back…

Looking forward to summer,

Oh and PS “HAPPY BIRTHDAY” to my big sister!
I wanted to extend a quick thank you to everyone who sent me a Birthday message. Time files that’s for sure, I’ll soon be in California for 2 years and so much has happened.

Don’t forget Williams Birthday is the 23rd!
