Our good friend Scott just got back from his big trip hiking through Europe for a few weeks. It looks like he hit up a few spots and even got to attend Rock en Seine, a two or three-day Rock ‘n Roll festival, held at the Château de Saint-Cloud’s park just outside of Paris.
Scott has been planning this “bucket list trip” for a while and we’re glad he brought The Syndicate along to share the thrill. He even went cliff diving into the Mediterranean and stopped through Monte Carlo in Monaco as well.
Oh yea and remember Marie? We’ll she returned the “couch surfing favor” ten fold and not only let Scott crash but also took him around to the local hot spots while he was traveling through Paris.
What’s next on your bucket list?

We were so stoked on the success and response from our GVSU event we decided to keep the momentum and meet up with our friends over at the University of Illinois. If you can make it out be sure to stop by. William will be on campus to share the story of our Midwest start up and even give some tips on how you can turn your ideas into a growing company. The event will be this Monday, September 28th at 8pm in Wohler’s Hall Room 370.
TGIF!

I was recently invited for a trip back to the Midwest to attend my friends Melanie and Mike’s wedding. The amazing event was held at the Basilica of the Sacred Heart at the University of Notre Dame.
In addition to the old friends and family, every detail to the celebration was on point. I was glad I could help out with a drawing for they’re rehearsal dinner invite.
Congratulations!

I’ve been jetting all around lately. Out to sea and even across the country visiting the ones I love in different locations. One of the first stops was quite relaxing and sunsets seemed to be a continuous theme.
Also, if you can’t tell by now I invested in a new camera. Expect to see even more photos in the future of life between the lines of The Syndicate.

Kyle and I have had quite a few people ask us about our collaborative effort known to you all as The Syndicate. Among all the comments and questions many lead to people seeking advice about how we went about starting our own business. Although we will never claim to be experts we jump at any chance to share our ideas, experiences and thoughts on how to turn a great idea into an attainable product to share with the world.
Much like the thought of starting a business, the idea of hosting some type of event to answer these questions came up in conversation. We initially joked around about the possibilities and sure enough a few aligned opportunities opened the door. I will be kicking off our first speaking event in Michigan at Grand Valley State University. We’re still working out the details of stopping through at other colleges in the Midwest so keep your ear to the ground for a few additional dates.
Since Kyle is based out in California he won’t be in attendance but The Syndicate is a family affair and his little sister will be there to represent. So if your in the Grand Rapids area mark this down on your calendar and stop by!
