Meet Big Zane. He loves to cook, is close to 7ft tall and even won the group “Meatball Cooking Contest”.

After 2 days, 22 miles, 24 friends and more than enough fun it was time to head back to the city.

A few weekends ago I took off on a road trip with friends to Yosemite for 2 days of camping and a 22 mile hike up to Clouds Rest. We had a great big group of friends and I ended up with plenty of great photos to share. Here is the first batch.

After the we made it through and past the first waterfall a congratulatory photo was more than required.

I wanted to take a quick time out to say thanks again to everyone who has ever made an effort to not only purchase our products but also support our growth by informing others about The Syndicate.

Being one of many other Midwest born people who have moved away to expand their horizons I know first hand that its always fun to meet someone walking down the street wearing a Tigers hat or even a Michigan shirt and get the chance to cheer them on as you walk past.

Took a last minute opportunity a few weeks ago to check another item off the bucket list and caught some big air over Northern California.

It was a thrill of a lifetime and at the same time a surprisingly peaceful experience.

I’ve been away for awhile taking care of a few personal trips, open items and exciting changes that I will share with you in posts to come. Until then I want to remind all of you to keep your cool this weekend and take some time out to enjoy life.

Although most likely none of you will come anywhere close to how cool my Grandma is.

My younger sister Meredith recently made the long trip out to SF from Michigan for a quick visit.

Meredith is hands down one of my best friends so I was more than happy to steal her away from the Midwest for few days!
